Generac Mobile Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
The Generac Mobile Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) provides three-phase and single-phase power output for mobile power applications with the advantage of zero sound and zero emissions. When connected to a compatible generator, it creates a hybrid system optimizing generator and BESS operation to power varying load requirements. The BESS automatically turns the generator on to recharge the batteries and provide peak power output and off when not needed, thereby maximizing efficiency. Available in 2 sizes and skid or trailer mount.

How to Use the Generac BESS
Temporary Power for a Job Trailer
As a result of adding a BESS to the power supply, a smaller, more fuel efficient generator (for the required load) can be used. Adding a battery energy storage unit enables the generator to run only at peak efficiency while powering loads and recharging the BESS.
