These few simple steps include wrapping the S-CAPEPOD around the patient. This secures the patient to the mattress allowing the patient to be comfortably and safely evacuated. Select standard or bariatric.

Place the S-CAPEPOD directly on top of the bed frame so it is always ready to use. The S-CAPEPOD lays permanently between the bedframe and mattress. The patient doesn’t see it nor feels it.
Then, attach the S-CAPEPOD to the bed mattress using the strap adjusters at the top end of the S-CAPEPOD.

| Simply release the flaps of the S-CAPEPOD from beneath the mattress, and fold over patient as directed in written manual. Then slide the patient and mattress off the bed using the S-CAPEPOD towing handles, and evacuate to safety. |
